Today I'm in for a review of Jane Iredale Tantasia Self Tanner and Bronzer.
I've shared with you before how I regularly use sunless tanners this time of year. Check back here for my longer sunless tanner post. While I love the self tanner I use regularly for my body, I don't love that I cannot use it on my face. It has tiny shimmer flecks in it--not glitter--but clearly a subtle shimmer. While this is a pretty effect on my legs and arms, I do not want it on my face.
So I use powder bronzer on my face. My favorite is Tahiti Sweetie from Silk Naturals. Still, my face is pale without it and is lighter than the rest of me. I like to have more of a glow in the summer, so it's always a hunt for a good facial tanner that adds a tint and is relatively goof proof.
Enter Jane Iredale Tantasia. Have you ever applied a self tanner and thought you had blended it well, only to have orange streaks in the morning? I think we all have.
What is really wonderful about this product is that it is truly a foolproof, multipurpose product. In an instant, you will have a subtle and natural bronze glow. That is one key benefit--a natural, sunkissed glow instantly. Within the next couple of days, the gentle sunless tan develops. It is completely streak free, ODOR FREE (a big one!!!), and goof proof.
As this goes on with a bronze tint, you can see EXACTLY where you have applied it so you know how it will look once the tanning lotions aspects have activated.
It's not just a tanning product, though! Tantasia contains radish root. What is the radish root for?
Radish root contains vitamin A, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, vitamin C, folic acid, potassium, magnesium, copper, and calcium. When radish roots are fermented, they have remarkable antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. Not only does this make the product a lovely one for anti-acne benefits, but it also acts to preserve the product without nasty chemicals.
This is a fabulous bronzer and sunless tanner in one!
Disclosure: I was sent this product at no cost for possible review. As always, this in no way has affected the outcome of this review and all opinions are my own.
